Stone Island began in 1982 as an offshoot of the dominant Italian casual wear brand, C.P. Company. The initial look had a marine-meets-army-surplus feel, with jackets made from washed and pumiced tarpaulin fabrics.
Today's looks may not be quite so rugged but feeling is still there. Carlo Rivetti is the man in charge of the art direction.
