Swedish label Nikolaj d'Etoiles began in 2003, and "Nikolaj," the diffusion line, launched in 2009. The company's mission is to create tailored silhouettes that strike a balance between classical elegance and modern innovation. The NDE wearer explores new realms of fashion without entering into places that are too uncomfortable or abstract. The Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which was inspired by 1930s Indochina, showcases timeless and traditional cuts from natural materials such as cashmere, cotton, and silk.

Swaledale sheep are named for the Yorkshire valley of Swaledale. They live in the mountainous areas of Great Britain, focused predominantly in County Durham, Yorkshire, and the lower fells of Cumbria. The Swaledale has proved itself to be a bold, able-bodied, and hardy sheep breed. These sheep are of medium build with black faces (sometimes speckled with white), and both males and females grow curled horns. They are well-fitted to endure the hardships of exposed and high-lying situations. Swaledale ewes are excellent lamb rearers. Their off-white coats are thick, straight, and coarse and they produce wool that is durable in wear and of even texture. Being excellent feeders and of strong constitution, as mutton producers they are second to none.
"Chrisco," completed in 2009, was built out of the Construction Navale Bordeaux (CNB) shipyard. Luca Brenta & Co. are the naval and exterior architects responsible for this 100-foot sloop, and the interiors were designed by Wetzels Brown Partners.
It would be nice to work in a place that allowed you to wear jeans to work, or to have gone to a school that allowed denim; alas, your glass has been half full of chinos for a long time. Time was, you and your boy, Chris, used to kick the old bull about finding the pair that would not be of the moment, or even the year, but a pair for the millennium. Oh, and you probably won't want to miss the outerwear. Two highlights that are perfect for this time of year:
