NEEDS&WANTS | Varsity Jackets F/W 2014

NEEDS&WANTS of Toronto is one of the few brands that you find yourself clicking over to regularly, even though the line includes just three pieces. The reason is simple: the label's signature staple, a varsity jacket. Designer Sean Brown has nailed down his minimal interpretation of the traditional classic, and each season showcases different asymmetrical color combinations and materials.

Love Hultèn at Austere

Swedish designer and craftsman Love Hultèn fuses advanced technology with traditional artisan knowledge, creating a unique symbiosis between function and aesthetics. His work ranges from original concept computers and arcade gaming gemstones in solid wood and precious metals to modular lamps made from beeswax. He will present his wide range of innovative prototypes and new products in his first American exhibition at Austere in Los Angeles from November 20-28, 2014.

Supreme x Stone Island A/W 14

It so happens that Stone Island and their Italian supertechnicians/wizards (streghe?), who devote their days to things like making dyes (read: creating colors no one has ever seen before) and revolutionizing outerwear, have teamed up with NYC streetwear titan Supreme. The collaboration for A/W 2014 consists of the Raso Gommato Cover Nero Jacket (shh...shh...there's a removable eye mask on the stowaway hood), a group of fleeces, and a Supreme camp cap. The collection drops October 2, both in stores and online.

O'Neill x Pendleton | Fall 2014

There's a fair amount of history behind O'Neill and Pendleton Woolen Mills. Based in Santa Cruz, O'Neill has been making wetsuits and surf gear since the 1950s, while Pendelton has been producing woolen textiles in Oregon since 1863. It makes sense, then, that these two companies whose business is keeping people warm have teamed up on a limited capsule collection for Fall 2014.
